In the spirit of giving and sharing, the group offers support to members and the community.  Volunteers from the group provide meals for the member and her family following the birth of a baby, during hospitalization, a serious illness, or other difficult times.  A prayer chain is available through out the year for any member's special prayer requests.  At Christmas, members volunteer to buy gifts for a family in need from the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  In May, the group organizes the "Bears for Babies" program in which new baby items are collected from the parish and given to needy mothers.  The group supports several charities including the St. Thomas Aquinas Hispanic Ministry, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Women 4 Women, and Family Haven.  At each meeting, members may bring in items to be donated to one of these charities.  At the end of the year, the group's excess funds are donated to these charities.
