Olive
Cheese Puffs
2 cups finely grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
30 whole pitted large black olives
Beat cheese with butter until blended.
Beat in flour, hot sauce & paprika to make dough.
Divide into 30 pieces, flatten each piece and wrap around an olive,
covering it completely.
Wrap and refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
Bake on an ungreased baking sheet @ 400 for 15 minutes (20-25 minutes if
frozen) or until hot.
Makes 30.
